Vectis Works helps manufacturers put the data their machines already produce to use, and builds dashboards, data layers and custom software for them. Our postal address is 100 Powell Place #1170, Nashville, TN 37204.

This policy applies to this website and to the business emails the company sends. Where it says "we" or "us", it means Vectis Works.

We write to people at companies whose job relates to what we do, such as those who run plants, maintenance or operations. We use their work email address, and now and then we may call a business phone number or post a letter to a business address.

We only get in touch when we have a reason to think our work could matter to that person's role. When someone asks us to stop, we stop.

• Business contact details, where available: name, job title, employer, work email address, business phone number and a link to a professional profile.
• Facts about the company: what it makes, its size, its locations and similar.
• Public business activity, such as job postings, news stories and public posts.
• The results of checks that tell us whether an email address can receive mail.
• Messages exchanged with us and notes we keep about those conversations.
• Visits to this website. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Our hosting provider keeps the usual technical logs, and the service that supplies the site's font receives the visitor's IP address when the page loads.

We do not collect sensitive personal information.

Public sources, including company websites, job boards, news and professional networking profiles; commercial providers of business contact data; and the person directly, when they reply to us, fill in a form or speak with us.

• To judge whether our work is likely to be relevant to a person and their company.
• To contact people at work.
• To check that an address is valid before we write to it.
• To answer replies and, if asked, to discuss or provide our services.
• To keep our do-not-contact list accurate.
• To keep our systems secure and to meet legal obligations.

We do not track whether our emails are opened.

Reply to any of our emails and say so in whatever words you like, or tell the person who calls you. We act on it promptly, and always within 10 business days.

We then keep your name and address on a do-not-contact list. That list is how we make sure you are not contacted again, whichever source your details might later reach us from.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for other companies' marketing or for targeted advertising.

We share it only with:

• service providers working on our behalf, such as email and mailbox services, address verification, business data providers, and hosting and storage, who may use it only to provide that service to us;
• public authorities, when the law requires it or when needed to protect rights and safety;
• a buyer of or successor to our business, who must honor this policy.

We keep contact information while it is useful to us and delete records that have gone out of date. Records about clients are kept for as long as the work and our legal and accounting duties require. Do-not-contact entries are kept for as long as we contact businesses at all.

Access is limited to those who need it, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect what we hold. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

You can ask what information we hold about you and where it came from, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you delete it, we still keep the do-not-contact entry so we do not contact you again.

Depending on your state, the law may give you further rights, such as the right to know, to correct, to delete, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share it in that sense. Using any of these rights will not change how we treat you.

We may ask you to confirm the email address we contacted so we can find your record. We respond within the time the law allows. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf.

Our work is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.

Vectis Works is based in the United States and contacts businesses in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the places where they operate.

When we change this policy, we change the effective date at the top of the page.
